Review by hotel critic
As someone who often seeks destinations resonating with both leisure and marine conservation, my recent stay at Cotford Hotel during New Year was nothing short of delightful. Barbara, the owner, personally welcomed us with a warm smile, setting the tone for a comfortable escape in a beautifully restored Victorian setting. Our room, a sumptuous twin with luxurious features, felt like stepping into a regal library, thanks to its high ceilings and charming decor. The attention to detail in the service was phenomenal; even though my wife wasn't feeling her best, Barbara herself made sure our bespoke breakfast was delivered to our room, showcasing the hotel's personal touch. Dining at L'amuse Bouche was a highlight. Every dish was like a theatrical experience, blending local produce with French-inspired flavors. The attention to our needs and the staff's genuine warmth made our evening feel extravagant rather than merely enjoyable. It's hard to believe Cotford Hotel is just a short walk from the stunning Malvern Hills, offering the best of both comfort and adventure. With its inviting atmosphere and top-notch hospitality, I can't wait for my next visit, perhaps to explore more of the local eateries and lush gardens. For anyone seeking a unique stay that nourishes not just the palate but also the soul, Cotford is a gem not to be overlooked!
